This kind of book is enough to make staycations look attractive! Exotic settings are always interesting, although I often wonder what the local tourist boards think when they see someone setting a murder series in their resort! 😉
Haha! You have a point, FictionFan! Holidays like this one do make you wonder about things like, oh, personal safety. That said, though, you are right about the setting. Mykonos is depicted, I think, really effectively here. Unless, of course, you’re in the tourism industry… 😉
I love that there’s a strong sense of Mykonos in this novel as well as the political aspect of policing. Sounds like an intriguing mystery. Thanks for posting this, Margot.
Siger definitely places the reader in Mykonos, Carol, warts and all. That’s one of the things I really liked about the novel. And, yes, readers do get a look at the way policing is done in Greece. If you do read this one, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
