This sounds like a lot of fun! I always like the sense of community that tends to be a feature of cosies, and Vera sounds like a great amateur ‘tec. Another one for the wishlist!
It is interesting, FictionFan, how the people in this novel end up coming together. And I did like the Chinatown setting. And Vera? She’s great. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and I want her recipe for getting people to do what she wants without coming across as rude and arrogant. If/when you get to this one, I hope you’ll like it!
