I’ve enjoyed a few of Creasey’s short stories in the BL anthologies, so added one of his books to my Classics Club list, but not this one – Gideon’s Day. I’m pretty sure I read a couple of the Gideon books back in my teens, but can’t remember what I thought of them. Have you read them?
I’ve not read a lot of Creasey, FictionFan. What I have read is decently written in my opinion, but a bit ‘thrillerish’ for my usual taste. They move fast, though, and I haven’t disliked what I’ve read.
