Istanbul is always an interesting setting with that constant pull between east and west. Sounds like the author has made good use of it! LikeLike Reply
Oh, and that east/west pull is clear (at least to me) in the novel, FictionFan. And yes, Goodwin does an effective job of conveying the city at that time. It’s a great setting for the story, too! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
