Sounds interesting! I like that she’s not an out and out maverick and gets on well with her team—I always prefer that to the complete loner misfit style of detective. Also happy to hear that it’s past tense!
As you know, FictionFan, I much prefer the past tense, too. And I agree; the relationship between Ellie and her teammates is a big plus for the series. They do have their differences, as any group will. But no-one on the team would do anything to put any of the others in danger. And they all know the risks of being mavericks. I like that about the series.
