  1. Sounds interesting! I know a bit about that time as it relates to Edward I (aka the Hammer of the Scots) and Scotland, but I realise I’m completely unaware of what was happening to Wales at that time. This sounds like it might be a painless way to find out!

    1. Ah, yes, FictionFan, there is that connection to Scotland that I didn’t think about as I was reading this one. Thanks! I thought Woodbury added in some really interesting information about England’s relationship with Wales and what that meant at the time. There’s a bit of Norman in there, too, which would make sense, given the times. If you do read this one, I hope you’ll enjoy it. It’s not a very short read, but I learned some things, so I didn’t mind.
