Everybody Get Together*

The fires that caused so much devastation in Los Angeles have been contained, and that’s a very good thing. But it will take years, a great deal of effort, and a lot of money for the area to recover. It’s a daunting task, and it will need a lot of people working together.

That’s why I’m editing a charity anthology of short stories, all proceeds to be donated to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. If you’ve already submitted a story, thank you!!!  If you haven’t, and you’re a crime writer, you can be a part of this! We’ve already got some terrific stories for the collection, and we’d love to include yours. Interested? The information and submission guidelines you’ll need are right here.

The deadline for submissions is 15 April, so you still have time! Let’s all work together to support those who’ve lost so much to the fires.

*NOTE: The title of this post is a line from Chet Powers’ Get Together, made popular by the Youngbloods.

  1. Margot, I am glad to hear that you have some good stories for the anthology. How generous of you to work on getting this together.
