  1. Sounds quite traditional in style. Contemporary crime often doesn’t have that group of suspects each with a plausible motive, and for me that’s part of what makes a mystery enjoyable.

    1. It is really quite traditional in that way, FictionFan. It’s got a classic sort of pace to it, too, and a focus on the suspects and events, not on Graves, really. It’s written in a more contemporary way (i.e. not using the late Victorian style of, say, Conan Doyle). But, yes, quite traditional, and if you read it, I hope you’ll like it.
