That aspect of including some kind of pastime or crafting skill is one of the things I enjoy about cosies, although the dead horse would have been a bit of a shocking start! I prefer human victims!
I agree, FictionFan, on both counts! I do like learning about skills, crafts, etc., especially if I know little or nothing about them. And that’s definitely a plus in this novel. The horse….yes, you’ve got a good point there! I prefer human victims, too, in my crime fiction.
