I vaguely remember reading a couple in this series way back when it began and enjoying them. I don’t think I intentionally stopped – just one of those series that got away! If I can ever make space on the TBR it sounds like it would be worth jumping back in. Good to know it works as a standalone – there’s zero chance of me catching up with the whole series!
I know what you mean, FictionFan! It’s so hard to keep up with a series that’s that long, isn’t it? It’s funny, isn’t it, how we let go of series we like. I don’t know if it’s the ‘shiny new book’ syndrome, or something else. But there are several series I would love to catch up with and follow – but I don’t. At any rate, if you do get to this one, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
