Bwahahahaha!!! 😈 😉 Seriously, though, FictionFan, I do hope you’ll enjoy it. I found the setting fascinating, and there was an interesting look at the sociocultural landscape, too. A bit of disbelief needed, but not more than I could handle.
Here is where a novel is attractive for me in terms of its setting. First because it is set in Tibet, somewhere I’ll never go to and secondly because of its cultural setting. It is somewhat like a travel mystery novel. Thanks for sharing this novel, Margot.
And it really did feel as though I was actually in Tibet, Carol. Carver did that very well. The cultural subtext was interesting, too. If you do read this, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
What an interesting setting! I’ve certainly never come across crime fiction set in Tibet before. Okay, you win – this one goes onto the wishlist! 😡

I quite like the sound of this one, mainly because of the setting and the backdrop of tension between Tibet and China. One to ponder I think.
