I’m reminded of a couple of recent John Godey books I’ve read which feature an actor, Jack Albany. Godey uses a lot of humour in his plots also, not all of which worked for me.
I think that’s the thing about wit, Col. Different people find different things funny, so it doesn’t work for everyone. When it does work, though, It can add to a book.
