Another series I’ve never come across! I like the sound of the Olympic setting. It’s always fun to be reminded of how much things have changed in living memory – I guess there’s a whole generation of people who wouldn’t know now what travellers’ cheques were!
I suppose you’re right, FictionFan! Those things are obsolete now. And it really is interesting to see how banking and money and that sort of thing have changed even in a few short decades. The Olympics setting is interesting, too,, and pretty effective as a context for what happens.
