I had no idea Tom Bradby wrote thrillers. I know him as a Royal correspondent on the news! This does sound interesting though that abrupt ending is a bit off-putting – I really like books to stand on their own even when they’re part of a trilogy or a series. Hmm, I may give this one a try…
It’s really interesting, isn’t it, FictionFan, when someone you know from the news, or who’s famous in some other way writes a piece of fiction. I know what you mean about that abrupt ending. It’s especially jarring if you don’t know the book is the first in a trilogy. But at any rate. I’ll be interested in what you think if you try this one.
