  1. I was interested to see you read the book. I think you liked it more than I did. i consider Cash a great character. At the same time I still have hesitations about the books as a mystery. I think Rendon needed to decide if she is writing a mystery or a book about the challenges of life for a young Indigenous woman.

    1. I see your point, Bill. The focus of the story really is Cash and her experiences. She is, as you say, a fine character, and the story follows her well. It’s more of a character-driven story than a mystery-plot-driven story.
