Sounds too dark for me and I’m not wildly enthusiastic about sleuths with pasts! But the inclusion of Viking rituals sounds interesting – though those Vikings weren’t noted for their soft, sensitive side! 😉
It is rather dark, FictionFan, and Louise’s past does play a role in the story. I know that’s not everyone’s thing. And as for the Viking rituals, learning a little about that was interesting, but you’re right; they were not known for their sensitivity. Oh, well, at least you can’t accuse me of adding to your TBR! 😉
