I popped over to Amazon to check if this was available over here, and discovered that there’s an audiobook version on which the author, who apparently is a professional musician, plays all the musical pieces that are “clues” in the book! That sounds irresistible…
Oooh, I didn’t know that, FictionFan! I read the Kindle version of this one, which has no such accompaniment. I knew Elias was a musical artist, but didn’t know he added that to the audio version. If you succumb, I hope you’ll like this. The writing is a little more ‘literary’ than some modern crime fiction is, and it would be really interesting to see what you think of it.
I can imagine that musicians and music lovers would love this book. I like books that have such a rich layer of detail. Thanks for the review and discussion, Margot.
I’m very glad you enjoyed the vlog post, DWP! The book certainly do es have solid layers of detail, and as for the music aspect? I think it’s beautifully done.

I think that kind of detail (knowledge) deepens a story. I like that.
