  1. Interesting commentary. I enjoyed The Bishop’s Wife. I thought Linda was a great character. I was impressed by her faithfulness while having still concerns with her church. As a sleuth she is a determined soul. What I remember best is that she is a great listener. She has genuine conversations as she listens as well as talks. Your review is a reminder I should find another in the series.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed this, Bill. I really enjoyed Linda as a character, too. As you say, she loves her church and is faithful, but at the same time, she has questions and concerns. I like that critical thinking and thoughtfulness. You’re right, too, that she’s a good listener. Little wonder people tend to feel comfortable in her presence.
