This sounds like a lot of fun! While I’m not usually into the paranormal, it can be very entertaining so long as the ghostly stuff doesn’t have to be taken too seriously. I’ll bear this one in mind for the next time I’m looking for a cosy!
Honestly, FictionFan, the relationship between Carmen and the ghosts is, I think well done. There’s wit, too, and all through it, Carmen is realistic enough to know how odd it seems that she can communicate with ghosts. She’s not fanciful at all, and I think that adds to the story.
