  1. Sounds like another good one! I like the idea of the identity swap, especially when it becomes more permanent than first planned. Shame about the present tense, but at least the author has used it for the present bit of the story – I remember reading one once where the author used past tense for the present part of a dual timeline and present tense for the past part. Most confusing!

    1. I thought the identity swap was handled quite well, FIctionFan, especially as CLaire discovers that there’s a lot more to Eva’s life than she thought. As for the tense, I would be confused, too, to read a book where the present tense is used for the past and vice versa. As you say, it is less confusing here, where the present tense is used for Claire’s story. If you do decide to put this on the wish list, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
