I’ve only read one book by Petersen and thoroughly enjoyed it – the setting was particularly well done in it too. Of course I fully intend to read more… one day! (I better hurry before Greenland becomes part of the US and poor old Maratse gets replaced by a sheriff 😉 )
Petersen really does weave a strong sense of setting into his work, I think, FictionFan. And honestly, it’s nice to read about a place that’s not as common in the genre. And yes, after that handover, there’ll be McDonalds’ or Starbucks on every corner in Greenland… 😉 (Cringe… headshake…)
