Phew, it always comes as a relief on the rare occasion that I’ve read your spotlighted book – my TBR is safe! I’ve been enjoying revisiting Marsh in the last couple of years. She was a favourite of my teens but I’d forgotten just how good she is!
Marsh’s work really is good, isn’t it, FictionFan? She’s got such a nice mix, I think, of wit, plot, and characters. I’m glad you enjoyed The Nursing Home Murder when you read it; in my opinion, it’s got a really interesting plot, and Marsh does a good job of placing the reader, too, both in physical settings and in sociocultural ones. And I know that sense of relief when the TBR escapes without additions!
