Sounds like an excellent setting, especially since this is Reading Wales month! Don’t know if I could cope with one angst-ridden ‘tec and one alcoholic one, though… phew! My TBR is safe! 😉
You know, it’s funny, FictionFan. When I was preparing this, I was thinking of just that – one sleuth dealing with her own challenges, and one who is an alcoholic – and thinking that might be a snag for you. McLeave makes no secret of either sleuth’s issues, and I can see how that might make you say, ‘no, thanks.’ Still, as you say, the setting is really done very well. Oh, well, you’ve escaped my clutches this time… 😉
It’s funny, Marina Sofia. When I planned and did this post, I didn’t think about its being Welsh Literature Month – lucky timing! I keep reaing and hearing how beautiful Snowdonia is; I must visit there sometime.

Perfect for Welsh Literature Month – it’s one of my favourite parts of the UK!
