I like the sound of the Lagos setting, but there may be too much violence and explicitness in this one for my wimpy tastes! Phew, my TBR could do with a break!
I thought the Lagos setting was effective, FictionFan, and quite vivid. But yes, there is a lot of grit, violence, and explicitness in the novel. It’s not purposeless, but probably more than suits your tastes. Oh, well, I’ll get you next time… 😉
