  1. It’s a genre I haven’t read much of – wrong age! But it sounds interesting, and I always assume that marketing books to a younger audience might mean that the more explicit stuff gets left out, which can only be a good thing!

    1. It is interesting how marketing works these days, FictionFan. I will say I didn’t feel condescended to, although it’s been a looong while since I was YA/new adult. As for the more explicit stuff, yes, this one had a few strong romantic scenes, but they weren’t explicit (certainly not by modern standards). I, too, get more than my fill of explicitness, and it’s good to have a break from it!
