I can quite understand why someone might be shooting bagpipers… 😉 The travel writing element sounds like an interesting way to show off the town, and I assume means she can move the setting for each new novel.

You may be right about the bagpipers, FictionFan. 😉 You’re absolutely right about the travel writer It does allow Young to explore each place in her writing, and give a good sense of what the place is like. And yes, the Travel Writer mysteries focus on a different place in each novel, so there’s variety there.
