NOTE: Apologies for the low audio after the intro – sometimes technical gremlins pop up when we really don’t want them to… Feel free to use headphones; you’ll likely hear better.

Thanks Margot, another one for the maybe list!

It’s got a solid rural New Zealand feel to it, Col, and a well-done creepy atmosphere, among other things. If you read it, I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Sounds interesting but I’m not sure it would be for me – I’m not a fan of dual timelines usually. Phew! My TBR can rest easy… till your next Spotlight! 😉

Bwahahahaha…. 😉 There is the timeline thing in the book, FictionFan, no doubt about it. For me, it wasn’t a problem, because it was clear who was doing what, when. But it’s a definite part of the novel, and if that’s not for you, I can see why you’d give this one a miss.

Margot, I enjoyed your analysis of the novel and the novel also sounds interesting. Gosh, there’s so much to read that it’s hard to keep up with it all!

Thanks, Carol – glad you enjoyed the post. You’re right, too, about all the great books out there. There are so many that it’s really hard to keep up with them!
