This sounds like fun! I’m sure someone recommended this series to me ages ago, but of course I never got around to them – maybe this time! Must admit, though, the incessant drinking in The Thin Man irritated me – it really was excessive, and repetitive.
I think it is a fun series, FictionFan, and I’ve always found it interesting that the Lockridges didn’t get more notice for it. I have to admit, there is a lot of drinking in this one; not sure it it’d be too much for your taste, but it’s there. Still, you might enjoy the story!
